Online Money Ideas

The internet is unbelievable as a business environment. The whole Google Adsense and Adwords thing, with Pay-per-click and what not are making some people very rich. Okay, not everyone. But you can generate a substantial second income from this. Put in more time, and you can definitely quit your day job, if you have one (assumptions here). To be honest, it isn’t that complicated. It takes a little work to get started but, once you can grasp the concepts, you are set. To this end I have gone through a large number of internet sites that have information on this. There are a few resources that I believe are worthy of your time. Iíll say why below.

The marketing on most schemes out there is truly atrocious. Some people will be put off by it; the other group will fall for it. I am going to try to go beyond that. It can be hard to see beyond what is staring you blindly in the face (usually in great big red letters). Claims of millions and, nowadays, Paypal account statements with large transfers shown. Basically, these people are trying to sell their products. They have read their own manuals. They know about marketing, about raising hopes in people and about presenting ìevidenceî of the merits of their products. They exaggerate in some instances; leave out bits that have to do with your own actions. Everybody seems to do this online; however, some of these resources do have real merit, which is why I mention them here.

In my experience, it’s the little things that make a difference. You might have everything done properly, but if your introduction is missing the right punch, then you don’t get any sales. The details are important. They can be, and are usually the difference between getting a lot of money and not getting a lot of money. I feel like it’s those that cover these fine points that are the ones you want.

I am better than you, I am a jerk etc, one proclaims on his website. You can see the angle he’s going for here. It works though. He’s even had an infomercial done. This means people are buying his product. This must mean that his tips work, or at least for some people. That ís really all that matters. This one is  a guide to every effective way of making money online, like a lot of others. What makes it really good is that he cuts out a lot of fluff and lays it down like it is. For me, the real clincher is the forum on the website. There are loads of people who are trying this stuff out. They like to talk about their experiences. This means you can see where mistakes have been made and where progress has been made. That ís value. People can repeatedly come back for help and advice. Not too many schemes have something like that in place.

The people factor is really important. This sort of thing has been around long enough for others to have tried it. Find out what itís been like for them. Get a second opinion. Forums are a good place. I know my eyes still ache from all the forums I have gone through. It might not clear up all your doubts, but it will certainly eliminate some bad choices.

That brings us to the main point. It really is down to you to follow through. Whichever one you go for, it could take some time for you to start to see real results. You have to have the drive and fortitude to see it to the end. The investment is not too great, particularly in the context of the potential rewards. How brave are you?

There ís a lot of stuff on making money on the internet. You have to be careful. Most people are just looking to make a buck, but if you can just sift out the dodgy ones, there really is a lot to be gained from the right sources.

Good luck.

Niche Blueprint

iche Blueprint

On the 12th January 2009 Tim Godfrey and Steven
Clayton are releasing the follow up to their
‘Commission Blueprint’ course that in 2008 took
the internet marketing community by storm by
selling over 15,000 copies in just 8 weeks.
The success stories have been in abundance and
the anticipation of the sequel has been
extraordinary.

Their upcoming product called “Niche Blueprint”
is an ultra comprehensive course that reveals
the exact strategies they use to generate
hundreds of thousands of dollars each year from
setting up simple niche E-commerce sites.

For this project, Tim and Steve have teamed up
with David and Michael Hermansen who also have
years of experience with the E-commerce business
and the purpose of this brand new material is
to teach others how to replicate their success
in the form of 23 videos and 26 manuals that
are contained within the course.

In fact, some of their own successes in this area
have been featured in both the New York Times and
on Fox News and as you will see, they have some
incredible proof of income from a number of sites
making huge amount of cash in obscure markets such
as ‘Sewing Machines’ and ‘Train Horns’.

You’ll even see an example of a ‘child simple’
website selling ‘Bird Cages’ that was recently
flipped for $173,000!

From what I have seen, this is unlike anything
else that has been released before and it
eliminates most of the problems that the majority
of internet marketers have when trying to generate
income online. It doesn’t involve selling items
such as ebooks, software or even promoting products
as an affiliate so in most cases the competition
is almost non-existent.

The good news for most people (and what really
sets ‘Niche Blueprint’ apart from other internet
marketing products) is that to make money with
these methods, you don’t need a list, a product,
any affiliates or even joint venture partners.

Neither do you need any additional investment,
website skills or any online business experience
at all. In other words, literally anyone can become
successful with this and the good news is it takes
very little time to set up.

I have also heard that they have even gone as far
as creating a new hosting company and replicating
a number of other services so that there is literally
nothing else to buy once you have access to the course.
Listen, every one knows that 2009 is going to be a
tough year economically. There are going to be a
large number of job losses no matter which county
you live in and as a result there could be a very
strong possibility that you will need some sort of
financial back up if the unthinkable happens.

If you can read and are able follow step by step
instructions then you’ll be able to follow this
incredible course and build your own $1million
E-commerce empire!

Niche Marketing

One of the most important decisions you’ll make as an entrepreneur is choosing your target market. While it may seem easier for small businesses to enter the marketplace by finding and developing niche markets, you shouldn’t necessarily reject the opportunities offered in a large market segment without some consideration. Niche marketing seems all the rage these days, what with the continued phenomenal growth of small business enterprises. Countless numbers of business advisers and consultants continue to encourage budding entrepreneurs to find, research and develop niche markets as a means to guide their businesses to profit and success. I’ve published several articles on the subject of niche marketing myself. And, as a market sector, niche markets certainly have their place. There will always be portions of any given market that are ignored or rejected by the larger companies, or simply overlooked by other small businesses, making them ripe for the taking by savvy capitalists.

But niche markets are by definition, small markets; subsets of a larger market arena. As such, even though they may prove profitable depending on the niche, they will always have less profit potential than the larger market segment. So why not go after the larger market?

All too often, I think, small business owners get caught in the trap of thinking of themselves as "small" business. Because their origins (the kitchen table, the garage, the basement, someone’s storage room) may be extremely humble, many entrepreneurs become captivated by their environment rather than their "vision". And, because they think of themselves as small, owners feel that they can’t effectively compete in a crowded market or in a market where they face competitors that greatly outsize them. That’s a huge mistake. Many large corporations, and some of the most profitable companies ever created (Yahoo, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, eBay), have had very modest beginnings. So for entrepreneurs to limit their expectations and future business potential based on their present circumstance or position isn’t very smart.

Don’t be afraid of entering a large marketplace simply because it’s large. Large is a good thing. It means that there exists greater opportunities and potential for more players. And while the number and size of competitors will certainly be greater, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. More competition means somebody’s making money, otherwise no one would bother, so you immediately know that there’s more profit potential. And the involvement of bigger companies often makes the stakes higher for them.

Large competitors have more, and often better, resources that are brought into the marketplace, however they’re not always as "agile" as a smaller competitor. They’re oftentimes unable to respond as quickly to customer interest or market changes. If you don’t believe me, just take a look at what has happened in recent years within the automobile industry. The "giants" were too slow to change and adapt themselves to supply what the market demanded. As a result, they have suffered huge losses and endangered or lost their premier rank in the industry’s hierarchy. In comparison with large organizations, small companies have their own advantages; less bureaucracy, a faster decision-making track, and ultimately less investment risk. If something doesn’t work, it’s much easier for a small competitor to make the adjustment or move on to something that does work.

Market Niche vs. Niche Market

Rather than trying to find a niche market, it may be more beneficial to use your resources to find your market niche. Don’t concentrate on the market size, concentrate on your place in the market. Rather than focusing on a narrow market subset that requires highly specialized or customized products and services, consider larger market segments that offer more variety, flexibility and profit potential. Find a market that you’re especially interested in or knowledgeable about. When you do, chances are you’re not alone. You’ll likely find that there are many others in the marketplace that have similar interests to yours and are searching for products or services related to that interest.

Remember, even large companies can’t service every customer. Find out where your business can fit in to a larger commercial arena where more opportunity for growth and profits exists. Then find ways to distinguish your business from your competitors. Can your business offer faster service or a better quality product? Can you offer a customer service department where each time the customer calls they’re able to talk to the same one or two people rather than being passed around to a different person every time they make contact? Can you provide "perks" that give added value to your products and services that provide your clients with exceptional customer experiences? These are ways in which you can compete against larger and more numerous competitors.

Competing against the multitudes or the giants can have its place. Against such competition, you grow smarter, stronger, better or you don’t survive.

My grandfather used to say "I’d rather be a big fish in a little pond, than a small fish in a big pond". The lesson of course being that he’d much rather be the fish doing the eating, rather than the one being eaten. And, while I understand his viewpoint, I hold a slightly different perspective. I tend to lean more toward the example of the small bait fish who swim with whale sharks many times their size, and thus have whole oceans at their disposal.

Finding a Niche Market

Niche marketing – Small, narrow, focused. Don’t treat your business like a department store.

There is an interesting area of internet marketing for the online home based business that is referred to as niche marketing.. While niche can mean different things, it is used here to indicate a very specialized market, a targeted market. Retail stores are an excellent example to illustrate what niche marketing is. A large department store can sell thousands of different products in the same building. A corner store only offers a limited number of products, but it is very likely that these items are limited to a special brand or are unique in some aspect. The home based business can also offer a multitude of purchase opportunities, but is more efficient if practices some focus since the competetion, and the rewards, are so great with respect to internet marketing. That’s exactly how niche marketing works.

niche marketing

Niche marketing is the ideal choice for new internet marketers and home based business opportunity owners who don’t have a lot of money or are limited in time. A major retail store would cost a lot of money for merchandise and require a ton of effort to be put forth. Niche marketing, on the other hand, offers drastically less costs and a much more manageable workload. These things will help someone who is new to this area.

This is how niche marketing works in the home based business opportunity venue. First, you find out what products are needed and what people need them. Then you find out where these people tend to congregate. Forums, interest groups and chat rooms all offer people with a specific interest to get together. Posting to these boards by non-members is often allowed. Know the kind of person you are seeking in a customer and it will be easy to find them online. Join in the board discussions and eventually make a comment about the product you are offering with your home based business and where to find it.

niche marketing

A paid ad on a website that focuses only on the area that your product fits into is another option. Before placing such an add, check out the website and make sure it is a place where you would want your ad. Is it a reputable site? Will they offer a good spot for your advertisement? Is it a site your target audience would actually visit?

If you are into internet marketing in a big way, and have a website of your own, you can always practice your trade by building a new niche web page and promoting it to the first page of the search engines as well.

When you specialize by marketing for a particular niche, you don’t have to contact people in all areas, like walking through an entire department store to get to what you really want, but only those who would be interested in your niche product.

Your efforts aren’t spread out but can be intensely focused on a specific market. This enable you to increase the sales of your online home based business by being more likely to reach those who are interested in your particular opportunity.

The Two Biggest Reasons Why Most People Will Never Make a Full-Time Income Online…

It all starts when some well-meaning (yet misdirected) person encourages a budding internet entrepreneur to "start in a niche they know alot about", or base their business around "something they’re passionate about"…

As horrible as it may sound – they’ve unknowingly sent the hopeful entrepreneur down a path of false expectations, poor results and eventually – failure. In fact, the myth of "do what you love and the money will follow" has been responsible for more failure than likely any other influence – perhaps even more so than laziness or a lack of perseverance.

Because the simple truth of the matter is that the only way you’re going to make real money on the net is if your business is based around two crucial things:

1) Large Demand

2) Buyers

In other words – you aren’t going to get rich selling a $15 ebook about growing square watermelons – even though that might be a great passion of yours.

The demand just isn’t there. Maybe there’s a few searches a day on Google for the topic, and perhaps there’s some interest in the online "gardening enthusiast" communities – but you’d be hard-pressed to make even a few hundred dollars a month from ebook sales.

Similarly, you also aren’t going to have a particularly easy time getting rich by building websites about some seemingly "popular" topics like humor, jokes, funny pictures and so on. And while there are a few ways to "monetize" your site (with AdSense, CPA Offers, CPM Banners, etc.), it takes literally millions of website visitors to make even just a few thousand dollars in markets like that.

The demand is huge – but the visitor value is extremely low…

Instead, if you want to make it big online – pulling down an impressive six-figure income – you need to tap into markets with tons of demand, where the majority of the visitors are valuable.

You need to capture tons of traffic that wants to buy something. If you take this approach, you’d practically have to hijack your own order links (or affiliate links) not to make a sizeable income.

In fact – did you know that some affiliates make several thousand dollars daily just by promoting a single product in hot markets? (Just imagine what the merchant is making…)

In some markets there’s actually so much demand that the vendors are quite literally selling over a thousand units – or more – per day. Digital products, with practically zero overhead/delivery cost.

But it all comes back to tapping into valuable demand. In most cases, it takes no extra effort or "skill" to market to a valuable market than it does to struggle along with something you’re passionate about.

These two factors – demand and buying traffic – are what seperate the "wannabe" marketers from the millionaires. Because there’s no real secret – you just need to sell what thousands of people are already buying.

The ball is now officially in your court. Are you tapping into markets with massive, valuable demand?

Or are you struggling to simply make a few dollars occasionally with a business that’s based on your own passionate interests?
